Technical information about this website's accessibility

Compliance status

This website is not compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1   AA standard due to the exemptions listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content in this website is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Not applicable.

Disproportionate burden

The Troubled Families Information System is expected to not be in use beyond April 2021.

The European Regional Development Fund and the European Social Fund are only due to invest in new funds in England until the end of 2020, and to continue to invest in funded projects until the end of 2023.

Due to the time-limited nature of these programmes that use the Datamart website, the decreasing number of users of the Datamart website expected over the next few years and the scale of changes required to fix all of the existing accessibility issues, we believe this would be a disproportionate burden  within the meaning of the accessibility regulations.

What we're doing to improve accessibility

Despite our understanding that fixing all of the accessibility issues associated with the Datamart is a disproportionate burden, we recognise the importance of improving the accessibility of our services where possible.

By June 2021, we are planning to introduce changes to the Datamart so it is possible to:

  • zoom in up to 200% without the structure of most pages being disrupted
  • navigate most of the website using a keyboard
  • skip to the main content of all pages using a keyboard
